#39 Matt Whitmore (G)
With each game having direct effect on the standings, every point available down the stretch is key. Penn State and Lehigh hooked up for a tightly contested (and particularly physical game). PSU escaped with a 3-2 victory due in large part to Whitmore's goaltending, as the Nittany Lions goalie saw a first period goal sneak by before shutting the door for most of the rest of the game.
Cabrini College
#40 Brian Bell (D)
The Cavs continued their winning ways on Sunday with a huge win over St. Joe's. Bell continued to show his offensive flair from the blue line with a 4 goal, 2 assist night. While he added some insurance at the end of the game, Bell's points came at key moments: helping the Cavs jump out to an early lead, and then responding to Hawk goals to prevent any major rally.
Kutztown University
#93 Ben Garvey (F)
Ben Garvey has lead Kutztown in scoring thus far this year, and he made sure to add to his numbers as Kutztown thumped Ursinus this past week. Garvey was all over the Bears with a 5 goal effort, including two separated by just over ninety seconds in the third to put the game out of reach. |
